Art is Hope - Joy in difficult times
Art helps kids find joy in local family shelters. Every month The Salvation Army Santa Monica visits youth and families in a local shelter to share hope. Through art projects, crafts, games, and fun activities, volunteers and staff aim to bring joy to those living in the shelter. Art is a powerful tool and can reach people in ways words often cannot. Art helps build relationships, which strengthens communities, and fosters unity as the children and their families share in a common interest.
